This classic Maine rowing tender is for those that desire a strong and seaworthy boat with traditional lines. In continuous production since the 1960s, the Newman tender dots many harbors throughout New England due to its popularity and long-lasting quality. The beautiful and timeless hull shape serves all kinds — we offer both a commercial-grade fiberglass for year-round weather and a fine-wood finish for summer picnics. This tender carries six comfortably with 4 seats and two rowing positions. Many of these iconic skiffs are passed down in families for generations.

The floatation is Styrofoam placed in compartments under the forward and aft seats. All seats are removable. Fastenings are stainless with bronze hardware. Outside rail is covered with gunwale guard for added protection and a nylon painter is included. Oars are Sitka spruce: 7-feet long with leathers and buttons. Standard color is white, though custom colors are available. Rails, knees, breastplate, stern and seats are teak. This tender can be powered with an outboard of 3 to 5 horsepower.
